Swedish Butter Cookies - Rob (S1 E1)

Blend together:

1 cup butter (salted)

1 cup granulated sugar

1 egg

1 teaspoon vanilla


Mix together

3 cups sifted flour

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon baking powder


Gradually add dry ingredients to moist ingredients, forming dough ball.


Chill dough for ½ hour (covered).


Roll dough to desired thickness and cut cookies.


Bake at 375 F for 8-10 minutes.

Cool on rack.


Frosting

1 box (16 ounces) confectioners sugar (10x)

1 cup (2 sticks) salted butter

1 teaspoon vanilla

Add milk to desired consistency


Frost cookies when cool, and then add red/green sugar sprinkles.
